A Scout, scouting for Scout. Some assignments just write themselves. When Scout Motors set out to launch their groundbreaking new EV, capable of traveling up to 500 miles on a single charge, they needed landscapes equal to the ambition. Mr. Location Scout brought them to Tejon Ranch in Southern California, where the terrain is as expansive and uncompromising as the vehicle itself.
We scout car and running footage locations across California regularly, but every now and then, a project comes along that means something more. This was one of them. For Mr. Location Scout's owner, this campaign carried a weight that went beyond the work. He originally drove to Los Angeles more than 40 years ago in an International Scout. So being part of the vehicle's modern relaunch wasn't just another automotive shoot. It was a full-circle moment, a location scout, scouting for Scout. We honestly couldn't have written a better brief than what history has written itself. And yes... we're already eyeing the new Harvester Scout the moment it rolls off the line.
