Location Scouting
Our role is to provide as many potentially useful and viable options for review for your production team. We take all things production-related into consideration; aesthetic, location cost, permitting difficulty, logistic feasibility, parking availability, access to electrical power, available light, vehicle access, noise pollution, weather conditions, and so many other variables that can affect your production. Our team members include experienced commercial producers that understand what you need to find the perfect location for your production.
Location Managing
As Location Managers, we negotiate location fees, take care of the insurance, oversee the property, and secure the necessary contracts and permits. We also confirm the cooperation of the location’s property owner and neighbors, and generally manage any problems related to the property or location. We remain on-site for the duration of your shoot, to ensure that the owner’s property is treated with care and that property guidelines are properly followed. Location Managing is at the core of our business and Mr. Location Scout works with only the most respected film and photography crews. We conduct ourselves with courtesy and professionalism to be certain that the properties we manage can remain available for future productions.

We also provide a wide selection of local vendor resources, a network of capable support crew personnel, and we’ve formed close working ties with several CA County Film Commissions.
Drone Services
Drone photography can provide for some stunning imagery, but how do you know you’re getting the best aerial locations for your production? Mr. Location Scout offers Drone Scouting services to help establish best options before you arrive. And when you’re ready to shoot, our FAA licensed drone professionals know the local locations and flight requirements to provide you with great results as well.
