For Rush bassist Geddy Lee's docuseries on Paramount+, authenticity was everything, and Mr. Location Scout scouted the California film locations that gave the series its genuine sense of place. Documentary work lives or dies on locations that feel real rather than staged, and as a bass player myself, I knew I should be scouting production locations that would feel authentic to the series. Locations that would capture each guest bass player's personal stories and experiences they shared with Geddy throughout the show. We sourced settings across California that felt natural for the talent and rang true to the story, so the production could focus on capturing the moments that mattered. The result is a series grounded in locations as authentic as its subject.
