A solar-equipped ranch for Solectrac's electric tractors
Solectrac's electric tractors are built to prove a point; that clean, quiet power can handle real work across a farm, ranch, or vineyard, and this shoot needed a property that could tell the whole story. Mr. Location Scout scouted and secured the ideal working landscape to put the tractors through their paces: tending the rows in the vineyard, hauling and grading on the ranch, and working open farmland, and horse corrals, all while showing off the range and versatility that set an electric tractor apart from its diesel counterpart.
The clincher was the energy story. We specifically located a property with on-site solar availability, so the tractors could be shown charging from the same sun that grows the crops, closing the clean-energy loop on camera and making Solectrac's sustainability message tangible rather than theoretical. Finding a genuine agricultural setting that's both photogenic and solar-equipped takes a scout who knows both the land and the growers working it.
Mr. Location Scout has worked on many electric-vehicle shoots. Here are just a few examples of shoots we've worked on for: International electric school bus, KIA EV9 Volkswagen ID Buzz, and Zero Motorcycles, GMC Hummer, Scout Motors, and even the Tesla Model Y.
